President and Chief Executive Officer of Dallas Mavericks since April 1997. He also serves as an Alternate Governor for the Mavericks on the NBA Board of Governors. Mr. Ussery has been the Chief Executive Officer of HDNet LLC since September 2001. He served as the President of Nike Sports Management from 1993 to 1996. At Nike, Mr. Ussery was included on The Sporting News' annual list of the 100 most powerful people in sports. He served as an Attorney at Morrison & Foerster LLP from 1987 to 1990. Mr. Ussery practiced business and entertainment law in the Los Angeles office of Morrison & Foerster, LLP, before joining the CBA. He has been a Director of Timberland Co., since May 19, 2005 and Entrust Inc., since December 2006. Mr. Ussery has been a Director of Treehouse Foods Inc., since June 6, 2005. He serves on the Advisory Board of Wingate Partners and Wingate Partners, L.P. Mr. Ussery has served as a Lead Independent Director of Treehouse Foods Inc. since June 6, 2005. He serves as a Trustee of Communities Foundation of Texas. Mr. Ussery serves as a Director of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, the Salvation Army, and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. He is a Trustee of the Princeton University. Mr. Ussery served as a Commissioner of the Continental Basketball Association (“CBA”) from 1991 to 1993. He served as a Deputy Commissioner and General Counsel of CBA from 1990 to 1991. Mr. Ussery has taught as an Adjunct Professor at several graduate institutions, including the University of Denver's Graduate School of Business Administration, where he taught business ethics and corporate governance. Mr. Ussery received a J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley in 1987, where he served as an Executive Editor of the California Law Review, an M.P.A. from John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and a B.A. from Princeton's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs in 1981.
