J Larry Sorsby

J. Larry Sorsby is Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and a Director of Hovnanian Enterprises, Inc. He is responsible for all financial and accounting functions including treasury, tax, financial planning, SEC reporting, cash management, information services and investor relations. Additionally, he is responsible for the Company's wholly owned mortgage banking subsidiary. Before joining K. Hovnanian in 1988, Mr. Sorsby was President and CEO of the Mortgage Banque Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Gemcraft Inc., from 1985 to 1988. Mr. Sorsby received a BBA from Stephen F. Austin State University. He has served on the Board of Directors of American Southwest Financial Corporation since 1983. He also is a trustee for the Monmouth Health Care Foundation.
