Dr. Michele Sackheim Wein is chair of the Jewish Peoplehood and Identity Coordinating Council of The Jewish Federations of North America Board of Trustees and also the chair of OZTMA. She is also national Co-Chair of the Jewish Leadership Forum, a Jewish Federations Philanthropy conference. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Jewish United Fund of Greater Metropolitan Chicago and the Women’s Board of the Jewish United Fund of Chicago. She serves on the AIPAC Illinois Executive. Dr. Sackheim Wein serves on the national board of Jewish Family & Life and is a board member and Development Co-Chair of the Chicago Jewish Day School. Michele (together with her husband Joe Wein) received the Scoop Jackson Award from CityPac in 2008 in recognition of their pro-Israel Activism. Michele Sackheim Wein is an alumnus of the Wexner Heritage Foundation Program from Los Angeles (1997-1999) and held many positions in the National Young Leadership Cabinet of UJA. Dr. Sackheim Wein is a periodontist and practiced for many years in Beverly Hills before relocating to Chicago. Dr. Sackheim Wien received her BA degree in Molecular Biology from the University of California in Berkley and her DDS degree from UCLA Dental School. She completed her residency at the University of Washington in Seattle.
