Marilyn Blumer

She also chairs the Negev Work Group of The Jewish Federations of North America’s Global Operations Coordinating Council. Ms. Blumer is an Associate Board Member of the Jewish Agency for Israel, a member of the Executive Committee of the United Israel Appeal – Federations Canada, a member of the Executive Committee and Co-Chair of the Budget Committee at the Canadian Council for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA). On the local level, she is a past President of Montreal’s FEDERATION CJA. Ms. Blumer has been awarded the Samuel Bronfman Medal, the highest honor bestowed by Montreal’s Jewish community. She has also received the Bess Pascal Memorial Scholarship for outstanding leadership, the Julia Silverberg Brown Memorial Award for her exceptional volunteerism, and as FEDERATION CJA’s Distinguished Leadership Award. Ms. Blumer is a graduate of McGill University with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
