She is immediate Past Chair of the Israel/Overseas Pillar and Past Chair of the United Jewish Federation of Pittsburgh. She has served as Chair of the Pittsburgh Federation Annual Campaign, is currently chair of the Pittsburgh IsraelNOW Campaign and the past Chair of the Partnership 2000 for Pittsburgh in the Misgav/Karmiel/ Baltimore/Pittsburgh partnership. She sits on the Pennsylvania Commission for Women (as a Governor Ridge appointee) and serves on the Executive Committee of the United Way of South West Pennsylvania and the Boards of the Pittsburgh Symphony, the Jewish Healthcare Foundation in Pittsburgh and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. In the past, she has chaired the Community Relations Committee for the United Jewish Federation, and co-chaired the Early Childhood Initiative – a program of United Way. She is a graduate of Stanford University and the Wexner Heritage Foundation Program.
