B Charles Ames

Mr. Ames is Vice Chairman of Clayton, Dubilier & Rice Co. ("CD&R") in New York. He joined CD&R in 1987 after serving as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Reliance Electric Company, Chief Executive Officer of Acme Cleveland Corporation, and Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of The Uniroyal Goodrich Tire Company. Mr. Ames serves on numerous corporate boards and has co-authored numerous books on management. Mr. Ames holds a Ph.B. from Illinois Wesleyan University and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.
