Mr. Montupet is Executive Vice President of Emerson Electric Co. where he has been responsible for the company's industrial automation business since 2000 and served as President of Emerson Europe since 2002. Mr. Montupet joined Emerson Electric Co. and was named Executive Vice President of its industrial motors and drives business with its acquisition in 1990 of Moteurs Leroy Somer SA, where he had been Chairman and Director of North American Operations. Mr. Montupet also serves as a director of PartnerRe Ltd.
