Joseph W McClanathan

He was president and CEO of the Household Products Division at Energizer Holdings Inc. from 2004 until his retirement in 2012. He served as president-North America at Energizer Holdings from 1999 until 2004. Prior to the spinoff of Energizer from Ralston Purina, he held various positions at Ralston, including VP - chief technology officer of Eveready Battery Co; VP - general manager of Energizer Power Systems, and director - trade marketing of Eveready Battery Co He currently serves on the board of Leggett and Platt. Joseph W. McClanathan has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Energizer Battery Division of Energizer Holdings, Inc., a manufacturer of dry cell batteries and flashlights, since January 2004. Prior to his current position, he served Energizer as President, North America, from 2002 to 2004, and as Vice President, North America, from 2000 to 2002.
