William F. Duffy was named executive vice president of distribution and logistics for Barnes & Noble, Inc. in February 2002. He is responsible for the operations of our Monroe, New Jersey, distribution center and our Reno, Nevada, facility. His mandate is to evolve our distribution network to new levels of efficiency and excellence with regard to the fulfillment of retail-store orders and the connections to our fulfillment systems at Barnes & Noble.com. Mr. Duffy returned to Barnes & Noble, Inc. after serving for four years as vice president, operations, fulfillment and customer service at Barnes & Noble.com. His leadership skills and resourcefulness greatly contributed to Barnes & Noble.com’s growth and success. William Duffy holds a B.S. degree in accounting from Villanova University and is a certified public accountant. He lives with his wife and four children in New Jersey.
