Jess M Ravich

Jess M. Ravich is Non-Executive Independent Chairman of the Board of Cherokee Inc., since January 2011. Mr. Ravich currently serves as Group Managing Director and Head of Alternative Products at Trust Company of the West, an international asset management firm, a position he assumed in December 2012. From November 2009 to December 2012, Mr. Ravich served as a Managing Director of Houlihan Lokey, an international investment banking firm. Prior to that, Mr. Ravich was CEO of Libra Securities Holdings, LLC. Prior to founding Libra Securities in 1991, Mr. Ravich was an Executive Vice President at Jefferies & Co., Inc. and a Senior Vice President at Drexel Burnham Lambert. Mr. Ravich also serves as the executive chairman of ALJ Regional Holdings, Inc. (OTC: ALJJ). In addition to his professional responsibilities, Mr. Ravich in the past has served on the Undergraduate Executive Board of the Wharton School and the Board of Trustees of the Archer School for Girls. Mr. Jess M. Ravich served as Managing Director and Head of Debt Capital Markets at Houlihan Lokey. Mr. Ravich founded Libra Securities, A Division of The Oak Ridge Financial Services Group, Inc., in 2002 and served as its Chairman and President. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Libra Securities LLC from 1991 to November 2009. He Co-Founded Caltius Capital Management and Caltius Mezzanine Partners II, LP and also serves as its Advisor. Mr. Ravich served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of US BanCorp. Libra. Mr. Ravich served as a Manager of EquityCo and OpBiz, subsidiaries of Bh Re LLC since October 2004. Prior to Libra, he served as a Senior Vice President of Drexel Burnham Lambert, where he served as a Member of the Executive Committee of the high yield group and shared responsibility for running high yield trading from 1988 to 1990. From March 1990 to March 1991, he served as an Executive Vice President of High Yield Trading at Jefferies & Co. Inc. He has been the Chairman of ALJ Regional Holdings Inc., since August 31, 2006. He has been Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Cherokee Inc., since January 28, 2011. He has been an Independent Director of Cherokee Inc., since May 1995. He has been a Director of ALJ Regional Holdings Inc., (formerly, Youthstream Media Networks Inc.) since June 26, 2006. He serves as a Director of Continental AFA Dispensing Company and Koo Koo Roo Inc. He has been a Director at Spectrum Group International Inc. since September 2009. Mr. Ravich serves as a Trustee of the Wharton School and the Archer School for Girls. He served as Director of Cone Mills Corporation until January 2004. He holds a B.S. and an M.S. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
