James Bagley is the executive chairman of the board of directors of Lam Research Corporation, a supplier of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Mr. Bagley joined Lam in August 1997, when the company merged with OnTrak Systems, Inc., where he was chairman of the board and chief executive officer. He was chief executive officer and a director of Lam from 1997 to 2005 and previously held various management positions at Texas Instruments and Applied Materials Inc. He also serves on the board of Teradyne, Inc. Mr. Bagley holds bachelor of science and master of science degrees in electrical engineering from Mississippi State University.
