Mr. Leight is the senior managing member of Terrapin, and the chief investment officer of Terrapin Asset Management. Mr. Leight has over 30 years of experience in asset and hedge fund management, as well as venture capital and private equity investing. Previously, Mr. Leight was the chief investment officer of Gabriel Capital, a hedge fund which specialized in bankruptcies, under-valued securities, emerging markets, private equity and merger arbitrage. Prior to joining Gabriel, Mr. Leight established and oversaw the Proprietary Trading department at Dillon Read & Co., which specialized in bankruptcy/distressed situations and risk arbitrage. Mr. Leight started his career as an associate in the corporate finance department of Oppenheimer & Co. Mr. Leight graduated cum laude from Harvard College. Mr. Leight has served on the boards of six public companies, including as chairman of the board of our three publicly traded special purpose acquisition companies. Mr. Leight currently serves as a director of the Jerusalem Foundation, the Miami Foundation, the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts and the South Florida Chapter of WPO. Mr. Leight is married with two daughters and two sons.
