Kathryn Mikells is chief financial officer for Xerox Corporation. She was named to this position in May 2013 and appointed an executive vice president of the corporation at that time. Mikells is responsible for all finance, treasury, investor relations, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, tax, and audit operations at Xerox. Prior to joining Xerox, Mikells was CFO of The ADT Corporation, following financial leadership roles at Nalco and UAL Corporation. As CFO of The ADT Corporation, she helped guide ADT’s successful transition into an independently traded company following its separation from Tyco. Before joining ADT, Mikells was chief financial officer of Nalco, a global provider of water treatment and energy technologies. She joined Nalco in 2010 from UAL Corporation, the parent company of United Airlines, where she served as executive vice president and chief financial officer. During her 16 years with UAL, Mikells held a variety of senior leadership roles, including head of investor relations, vice president of financial planning and analysis, and treasurer. Before joining UAL, Mikells spent six years in the financial services industry at GE Capital, Household International and CIBC. Mikells holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She serves on the board of directors for The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc.
