Mark D. Carleton has retired as Chief Financial Officer of Liberty, a position he has held since 2016. Mr. Carleton has become a Senior Advisor and he will remain focused on several of Liberty’s key portfolio companies. Mr. Carleton joined Liberty in December 2003 and has held a number of senior executive positions during his tenure, most recently serving as Chief Development Officer before taking on his current role in October 2016. Prior to joining Liberty, Mr. Carleton served as a partner in the accounting firm of KPMG, where he had overall responsibility for the communications sector and served on KPMG's board of directors. Mr. Carleton serves as a director of Liberty-related companies SiriusXM, Live Nation Entertainment and Atlanta Braves, Inc., and is also a director of Barnes and Noble, Junior Achievement-Rocky Mountain and U.S. Speedskating. He holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in accounting from Colorado State University.
