Zlatkus has extensive financial services experience, having played pivotal roles in finance, risk and P&L leadership. Her 28-year tenure included serving as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer for The Hartford Financial Services Group, retiring in 2011. She also served as Co-President of Hartford Life Insurance Companies and President of International Wealth Management and Group Benefits. She has experience serving on multiple public company boards. Currently, she serves on the boards of Boston Private Financial Holdings and Indivior. Zlatkus currently serves on the Connecticut Science Center and Pennsylvania State University Business School boards. Previously she served on The Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame, the President’s Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities, Hartford Action Plan on Infant Health, North American Chief Risk Officers Council (as regulatory chair), Hewlett-Packard Financial Services advisory board, and the Life Office Management Association. Zlatkus graduated with distinction from Pennsylvania State University and was selected as an Alumni Fellow in 2003.
