Charles R. Rinehart has been one of our directors since March 2007. Mr. Rinehart is the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of H.F. Ahmanson & Company, formerly a savings and loan association, until 1998, serving as President and Chief Operating Officer from 1989 to 1993. Before joining H.F. Ahmanson, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of AVCO Financial Services in 1983, becoming its President and Chief Executive Officer in 1985. Before joining AVCO, Mr. Rinehart was Executive Vice President of Fireman's Fund Insurance Company. He is also a director of VeriFone Holdings, Inc., a company that automates transactions among consumers, merchants and financial institutions.
