Lynch served as national partner in charge of the financial services division at KPMG LLC from 2004 until his retirement in 2007. Prior to that, he held a variety of positions at KPMG during his 29-year tenure, including chair of KPMG's Americas Financial Leadership team and a member of the global financial services leadership and the U.S. industries leadership teams. He currently is on the board of American International Group Inc. (AIG).
