Dean A Scarborough

Scarborough retired as CEO of Avery Dennison Corporation in 2016. He joined the company in1983 and served in a variety of executive management positions resulting in his appointment as president and CEO in 2005. He currently serves as chairman of the board of Avery Dennison Corp. and is a trustee of Hiram College. Since May 2005, Mr. Scarborough has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Avery Dennison Corporation, a global leader in pressure-sensitive technology. From May 2000 to April 2005, Mr. Scarborough served the Company as President and Chief Operating Officer. From November 1999 through April 2000, Mr. Scarborough served the Company as Group Vice President, Fasson Roll Worldwide. Prior to November 1999, Mr. Scarborough held other executive positions with the Company. He is also a director of Mattel Corporation, a manufacturer and marketer of toys and family products. He has been a director of Avery Dennison Corporation since May 2000. His present term expires in 2009.
