From April 2001 through January 2006, Mr. Pyott was Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer and from January 1998 through March 2001, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Allergan. He is also a director of Edwards Lifesciences Corporation, a cardiovascular disease treatment company. He has been a director of Avery Dennison Corporation since November 1999. His present term expires in 2009.
