John M Berra

John M. Berra is Executive Vice President of Emerson Electric Company and President of Emerson Process Management, a global leader in providing solutions to customers in process control. Mr. Berra joined Emerson's Rosemount division as a marketing manager in 1976 and thereafter continued assuming more prominent roles in the organization until 1997 when he was named President of Emerson's Fisher-Rosemount division (now Emerson Process Management). Prior to joining Emerson, Mr. Berra was an instrument and electrical engineer with Monsanto Company. Mr. Berra was elected to the Board of Directors in July 2003 and is the Chair of the Compensation Committee and a member of the Finance Committee. Mr. Berra serves as an advisory director to the Board of Directors of Emerson Electric Company. He also serves as Chairman of the Fieldbus Foundation and is a past Chairman of the Measurement, Control, and Automation Association.
