Mr. McLain served as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and President of Nabi Biopharmaceuticals from 2004 until his resignation in February 2007, and was Chief Executive Officer, President and a director of Nabi from 2002 until 2004. Nabi is a biotechnology company that applies its knowledge of the human immune system to develop and market products that address serious medical conditions. Previously, Mr. McLain served as President, Chief Operating Officer and a director in 2002 and 2003, and in 2001 and 2002, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. From 1998 to 2001, Mr. McLain served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer. From 1988 to 1998, Mr. McLain was employed by Bausch & Lomb, Inc., a global eye care company, where he held various senior financial management positions of increasing responsibility.
