Gary joined CBRE's Los Angeles office in 1971 as an industrial and investment property specialist. After participating on teams to establish offices in the Chicago area in 1975, he served in a variety of Midwest and Eastern management positions until being elected President of Commercial Brokerage and Corporate Services in 1987. In May 1995, he was named President and General Manager of the Company. With the merger of CB Commercial and Richard Ellis in April 1998, Gary joined the newly formed Global Corporate Services unit as a Senior Executive Managing Director. After 37 years of service, Gary retired as a full-time employee at the end of 2007, but continues to serve several clients on project specific basis. Gary is responsible for establishing, coordinating and advancing client relationships to engage the global service capability of CBRE. In addition, with his interest in furthering and supporting inner city and character value education, Gary is active with the Schools That Can (STC – Chicago) and The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation.
