From 1991 to 1995, Leone was Executive Vice President of the CIT Sales Financing unit, responsible for sales and servicing. He joined CIT in 1986 as Senior Vice President and Controller. Prior to working at CIT, he was with Manufacturers Hanover, where he served as Deputy Controller. Leone had previously been Senior Audit Manager in the Banking Industry Practice with KPMG Peat Marwick. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York Society of Certified Public Accountants. Leone is a member of the Board of Trustees of both the Ramapo College Foundation and the Bernard Baruch College. He also serves on a variety of advisory boards, including Archbishop Molloy High School and the American Heart Association. Leone holds a BBA from Baruch College of the City University of New York and attended the Harvard University Advanced Management Program.
