John Stevens

Interim CEO and a Director of The China Care Foundation. He is a former Managing Director of JPMorgan Chase Bank and its predecessor institutions, from which he retired in 2006 after a 30 year career. At JPMorgan Chase he headed Latin America Special Loans, and prior to that was the Group Credit Officer for Latin America. Earlier career assignments included a Senior Credit Officer position in the U.S. Banking and Corporate Division, heading the office in Venezuela and a posting in Mexico. Mr. Stevens has served as a board member or advisor to several organizations. He holds an MBA degree from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a BA degree from Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut.
