D. Roger Nanney is Vice Chairman of Deloitte LLP, one of the nation's leading professional services organizations, providing audit, tax, consulting, and financial advisory services through nearly 40,000 professionals in more than 90 cities in the United States. Based at Deloitte's national office in New York, Roger serves as operations leader for all the Deloitte U.S. firms' clients and markets initiatives, including the Office of the CEO Program, which oversees the business development, and US industry programs. He is a member of the US Operations Committee and the US Clients & Markets senior leadership team. Prior to this role, he served as regional managing partner for Deloitte's Mid-American region, among the fastest growing of the organization's seven U.S. regions. Roger joined Deloitte in 1982 after obtaining a B.S. in Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy form the University of South Carolina. Admitted as a partner in 1990, he has built a distinguished record of service during his 26-year career, having served on a wide range of multinational engagements for many U.S. firms' most significant clients. His client service assignments span a number of industries, including energy, insurance, technology, real estate, and retail. Roger is actively involved in various professional and community organizations. Current commitments include Immediate Past Chairman of the Board of Directors, United Way of Metropolitan Dallas; Past Campaign Chairman, United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, Executive Board member, Edwin L. Cox School of Business, Southern Methodist University; Past Board member, Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce; and Board Member and Executive Committee Member, Dallas Center for the Performing Arts Foundation. He also has served as chair, Texas Accountants Coalition. Roger is also a past Board Chair and Campaign Chair of United Way Tampa Bay. Roger is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Member of the American institute of Certified Public Accountants, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and Institute of Management Accountants. He has also completed the Graduate Leadership Program at the Wharton School. Roger resides in Dallas, Texas, with his wife, Charlene and their two children
