Roberto joined PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP in 1973 after graduating from the University of Puerto Rico. He transferred to the New York office on a one-year tour of duty where he served various multinational clients and then returned to the San Juan office, where he has spent most of his professional career. Roberto's experience encompasses assignments in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and technology, as well as, telecommunications, entertainment and media industries. Roberto's responsibilities include the direct supervision of the largest pharmaceutical and technology clients in the San Juan office. Roberto has always been very active in his community, joining Fondos Unidos de Puerto Rico (United Way) in 1986 and serving as a volunteer ever since in roles such as Chairman, Board of Governors (1995), President of Executive Committee (1994), Treasurer (1988-1993) and Secretary of Board of Governors (1999 - present). He has been recognized with several awards such as: Distinguished CPA volunteer in Community Service (1995) for his volunteer service with Fondos Unidos de Puerto Rico awarded by the P.R. CPA Society, and the Public Services Award (1995); American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
