Herbert J Zarkin

Herbert J Zarkin has been a director of BJ's since November 1996, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company since July 1997 and has served as BJ's Chief Executive Officer since February 2007. From February 2007 to January 2008, Mr. Zarkin also served as President of BJ's, and from November 2006 to February 2007, Mr. Zarkin was Interim Chief Executive Officer. From July 1997 to June 2002, Mr. Zarkin was Chairman of House2Home, Inc., the surviving company of a merger in September 2001 with HomeBase, Inc., formerly known as Waban Inc., and was President and Chief Executive Officer of House2Home from March 2000 to September 2001. He was a director, President and Chief Executive Officer of Waban from May 1993 to July 1997. Mr. Zarkin is Chair of BJ's Executive Committee and a member of the Finance Committee.
