JAMES D. JAMESON is Chairman and / or major shareholder of companies in aerospace, agriculture, publishing, book distribution and real estate. These companies include Glenair, Inc., LIDCO, Inc., the Luxembourg Cambridge Holding Group, Rancho Los Lagos, and Speak Mandarin Co., Ltd. Mr. Jameson chairs the Advisory Council for the School of International Relations and Pacific Studies at the University of California at San Diego, and serves on the Advisory Board for the Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California at San Diego. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Reason Foundation, a policy think tank interested in free market solutions to societal problems. Mr. Jameson spent eight years on the Board of Trustees of the Institute of Americas where he served as Chairman until 1992. In 1992 and 1993, he held the position of Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Trade Development, was a member of the Board of the Export Import Bank and then served as a member of the U.S. Polish Action Commission, chaired by Zbigniew Brzezinski, which has been involved in the economic development of Poland. Mr. Jameson served as the International President of the Young Presidents’ Organization in 1989/90. Mr. Jameson graduated from Stanford University with both a B.A. and M.B.A. He is married, has two children, and resides in Rancho Santa Fe, California.
