Hank Driesse is the interim President of ITT's Defense Electronics & Services segment, a position he assumed in April of 2008. Driesse is a veteran ITT executive, with 27 years of experience at the company, the bulk of which was spent in the defense industry, including five years at the helm of ITT's defense business from 2000 to 2005. During that period, Driesse drove significant growth initiatives and operational improvements, more than doubling the defense business revenues and tripling the segment's operating income. Driesse was most recently Senior Vice President, Operations with responsibility for ITT's major operational excellence priorities. From 2005 to 2007, Driesse was President of ITT's Fluid Technology segment. Driesse began his career with ITT in 1981. During his tenure, he served as Vice President and Director of Engineering for ITT Defense Communications where he managed the design and development of communications systems. Subsequently, he was Vice President and Director of Operations, and was eventually named Vice President and Director of Business Development for ITT's Aerospace/Communications Division. In 1991, he was appointed President of ITT's Avionics Division. Driesse previously served on the Boards of Faradyne Motors, a joint venture partnership between ITT and Pentair, and DigitalGlobal. Additionally, Driesse serves on the Board of Chilton Memorial Hospital. Driesse holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from New York University.
