Paul H Barry

Paul H. Barry is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Pepco Holdings, Inc. (PHI), a regional energy holding company that provides utility service to about 1.9 million customers. PHI is the parent company of Potomac Electric Power Company, an electric utility serving Washington, D.C. and suburban Maryland; Delmarva Power, an electric and gas utility serving Delaware and the rest of the Delmarva Peninsula; and Atlantic City Electric, an electric utility serving southern New Jersey. Mr. Barry joined PHI in September 2007. Previously he was Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer of Duke Energy where he was responsible for corporate development including mergers and acquisitions, and held several positions of increasing responsibility. He also gained experience at General Electric, CBS (formerly Westinghouse), and Amoco, and is an alumnus of GE’s highly regarded Financial Management Program and Corporate Audit Staff. In his current role as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Barry is responsible for treasury, regulatory, strategic and financial planning, accounting and tax, investor relations, risk management, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for all of the PHI companies.
