Barbara J. Krumsiek since 1997 has been President and Chief Executive Officer and since 2006 Chair of Calvert Group, Ltd. Calvert is based in Bethesda, Maryland, and offers a range of fixed income, money market and equity mutual funds including a full family of socially responsible mutual funds. She serves as a trustee or director for 40 Calvert-sponsored mutual funds, including serving as Chair of the Calvert Variable Series of funds. She has been a director of the Company since May 18, 2007. Ms. Krumsiek currently serves on several private and non-profit boards. She is a Board member of Pepco Holdings, Inc., Chair of the Board of the Eugene and Agnes E. Meyer Foundation, a Trustee of the Federal City Council, and on the Board of the Girl Scouts USA. She is a former Chair of the Greater Washington Board of Trade. Graduating Phi Beta Kappa with honors from Douglass College, Rutgers University, Ms. Krumsiek received a Bachelor's degree in mathematics. She received a Master's degree in mathematics from the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University. Ms. Krumsiek, a native New Yorker, resides Washington, DC with her husband, Bart Leonard.
