Since joining Entrepreneurs Foundation in 1999 she has greatly expanded the Foundation's regional and national presence as a leader in corporate philanthropy and corporate community involvement. As Executive Director, Ms. Solinger oversees all organizational strategy, operations, new business development, program delivery and affiliate relations. Ms. Solinger has over 20 years of non-profit leadership experience. Prior to joining Entrepreneurs Foundation, Ms. Solinger served as Executive Director of the American Heart Association, Silicon Valley. There she developed innovative programs aimed at reducing heart disease and stroke in key underserved populations and doubled regional income to support AHA's research and programs. She has also held positions with the University of Colorado Foundation, the American Cancer Society and the United Way of the Bay Area. Ms. Solinger received her bachelor's degree in English from the University of Colorado at Boulder, spending one year at the University of Bordeaux in Bordeaux, France. She is also a graduate of Stanford University's Graduate School of Business Executive Program for Non Profit Leaders and is a senior fellow of the American Leadership Forum, Silicon Valley.
