Schlosstein, 58, has been elected as a member of the Board of Directors of the Company and appointed as the Company's President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to founding BlackRock in 1988, Mr. Schlosstein was a Managing Director in both investment banking and capital markets at Lehman Brothers.
