Kevin Acebo

Kevin Acebo is a senior Democratic political strategist and public affairs consultant with more than three decades of experience in Los Angeles and California government. His career has included service as Assistant Chief of Staff to Los Angeles County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky, Principal Legislative Consultant to Assembly Speaker Willie L. Brown Jr., Deputy Mayor for the City of Los Angeles, and campaign consultant for the Assembly Democratic Campaign Committee. Acebo has held leadership roles within Democratic Party structures, including President of the Los Angeles Asian Democratic Caucus and State Chair of the California Democratic Party’s Asian Pacific Caucus. He has served on the Los Angeles County Boundary Review Committee during redistricting cycles and currently sits on the Los Angeles Commission on Mental Health. Acebo is also affiliated with multiple AAPI-focused political organizations and PACs, positioning him within California’s Asian American political mobilization and electoral networks.
