JOHN T. MONTFORD has been a director since June 1999. Since December 2004, he has been President--Western Region for AT&T Services, Inc. From June 2002 to December 2004, he was Senior Vice President--External Affairs for SBC Communications, Inc. From September 2001 to June 2002 he was President--External Affairs, SBC-Southwest and SBC-SNET. From 1996 to 2001, Mr. Montford served as Chancellor of Texas Tech University System in Lubbock, Texas. From 1983 until 1996, Mr. Montford was a member of the Texas Senate, during which time he served as Chairman.
