Timothy T Weglicki

Tim Weglicki is a Founding Partner of ABS Capital Partners whose investment interests and experience span the business services, health care, media and communications and technology sectors. Today, he works closely with his companies guiding them through strategic initiatives that can help them achieve success, including re-focusing business models to achieve improved margins, reorganizing compensation structures to drive growth and advising them on strategic transactions that build and achieve value. Prior to joining ABS Capital in 1993, he spent 16 years at Alex. Brown & Sons, most recently as founder and head of Alex. Brown's Capital Markets Group. This group included its investment banking, equity sales and trading, research and corporate fixed income activities. In his 16 years as an investment banker and capital markets advisor Mr. Weglicki helped build a knowledge-based, relationship-focused investment banking and capital markets franchise that assisted leading growth company management teams through a myriad of successful capital raises and strategic M&A transactions. Mr. Weglicki is also an independent director on the boards of Coventry Health Care, Inc. and former ABS Capital portfolio company American Public Education, Inc.
