Ms. Helen P. Pudlin, Esquire served as an Executive Vice President of The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc., from February 2009 to May 31, 2012 and its General Counsel from 1989 to May 31, 2012 and Senior Vice President since 1989. During Ms. Pudlin's tenure at PNC, in addition to directing the legal affairs, she was a Member of the Executive Committee, helping to develop corporate strategy and policy. Before joining PNC, she was a Partner and Commercial Litigator in the law firm of Ballard Spahr, where she co-chaired it’s Health Law Group. She is the Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Wistar Institute. She serves as a Trustee at The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company. She serves as a Member of Advisory Board at NAXION, Inc. Ms. Pudlin served as a Director of BlackRock, Inc. She sits on the Board of Overseers of the University of Pennsylvania Law School and the Board of Advisors of the University of Pennsylvania Institute for Law and Economics. She is also is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a Fellow of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia. She is one of Pennsylvania’s most distinguished corporate attorneys. She spent her career guiding clients in the financial services and healthcare sectors and retired from active practice. She has received numerous honors and award for her accomplishments, including an Alumni Award of Merit from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, a Woman of Distinction award from the Legal Intelligencer and the Pennsylvania Most Powerful and Influential Women Award from the National Diversity Council. Ms. Pudlin received a B.A., M.A. (Education) and J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
