Richard J Johnson

Richard J. Johnson is chief financial officer for The PNC Financial Services Group. Johnson is responsible for managing the finance functions including the business chief financial officers, performance measurement, the controller function, tax, Sarbanes-Oxley, investor relations, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining PNC in 2003, Johnson was president and chief executive officer of JP Morgan Services in Delaware, a subsidiary of JP Morgan. Johnson held a number of management positions at JP Morgan, including European chief financial officer in London and global business markets chief financial officer in New York City. In addition, Johnson was an audit manager at Coopers and Lybrand. Prior to being named to his current position in July 2005, Johnson was director of finance for PNC. Johnson earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Ithaca College in 1978.
