Mr. Chellgren is an Operating Partner with Snow Phipps Group, LLC, a New York City-based private equity firm. In 2002, he retired as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ashland, Inc., a provider of specialty chemical products, services and solutions, headquartered in Covington, Kentucky. He also served as the Chief Financial Officer of Ashland. Mr. Chellgren received an undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky, a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard University, and a diploma in Developmental Economics from Oxford University.
