Mr. Conti currently services as Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Enel SpA, Italy's largest power company, a position he has held since May 2005. From 1999 until his appointment as CEO and General Manager, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Enel. Mr. Conti has a financial career spanning over 35 years, and has held the role of Chief Financial Officer for various private and government-owned entities in Italy. In April 2006, Mr. Conti was appointed to the boards of Barclays PLC and Barclays Bank PLC as a non-executive director.
