ROGER B. PLANK, 51, has served Apache in varying capacities for over 25 years. He was appointed executive vice president and chief financial officer in May 2000, having been vice president and chief financial officer since July 1997. Previous vice president positions include planning and corporate development, corporate planning, external affairs, and corporate communications. Mr. Plank is a member of the board of directors of Parker Drilling Company and chairs its audit committee. He is a past president of the Texas Independent Producers & Royalty Owners Association, and also served as a director of the Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association and the Domestic Petroleum Council.
