Kari Simpson

Simpson, Christian social conservative who has been doing anti-2SLGBTQ organizing since at least the late 1980s, proudly opposes measures to combat homophobia and heterosexism in schools and is against anything that portrays 2SLGBTQI people as “normal, acceptable or must be tolerated.” She sued for defamation after being called a bigot and done so in reference to Hitler and George Wallace. She lost after the case went to the Supreme Court of Canada. She went on to represent herself in a suit against the judge that ruled against her in with "completely baseless" allegations. She attended an anti-Muslim far-right Yellow Vest demonstration, and has brushed aside concerns about the Soldiers of Odin being white supremacist as "probably overplayed." She is founder of Culture Guard, Parents United Canada and the now defunct Citizens' Research Institute
