Iulia Cazan

According to C-Fam's website, Iulia Cazan graduated from Drexel University in June 2023 with a degree in Political-Science and minors in French and Philosophy. As an international student from Romania, Iulia used her undergraduate experience in the United States to develop a conceptual understanding of good governance and learn how political institutions ensure a democratic, transparent, and effective exercise of power and authority. Iulia gained legislative experience while working for the PA House of Representatives and had the chance to help strengthen the relationship between the government and the larger community it serves while working in the non-profit sector. An activity she cherished during her senior year was joining weekly philosophical seminars and book clubs at the Collegium Institute, where, together with a cohort of intellectually curious students, she explored the connections between the legal field, virtue, theology, and the works of classical and medieval philosophers.
