Sam Brown earned a B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point and later a Masters in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University. Brown served in the U.S. Army and was deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan, in 2008, where he was wounded by an IED explosion. He received a purple heart and was medically retired from the Army as a captain in 2011. After retiring from the army, Brown and his wife started a small business providing critical services to veterans. Sam Brown (Republican Party) is running for election to the U.S. Senate to represent Nevada. He declared candidacy for the Republican primary scheduled on June 11, 2024. Duty First Nevada, a super PAC is supporting Sam Brown's campaign.
