In 2006, he served as the deputy campaign manager for two highly targeted legislative races, those of Assemblyman Martin Garrick and Assemblywoman Shirley Horton, where he organized the campaigns’ ground operations. Subsequently, Matt worked as a field representative for Assemblyman Martin Garrick. In 2008, Matt served as the Oregon Statewide Field Director for the National Republican Committee, overseeing offices all over the state and managing the statewide field staff. In 2010, Matt consulted for the California Dental Association, overseeing their ground campaign to help elect Bill Emmerson to the State Senate. More recently, he served as Campaign Manager to Abram Wilson’s highly competitive 2010 campaign. Matt is a graduate of California State University, San Marcos, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. While in College, he also served as the Political Director and Executive Director for the California College Republicans.
