Cooke Newhouse has worked alongside prominent photographers such as Steven Meisel , Nick Knight and Tim Walker and has contributed to i-D magazine and Showstudio. Her work for Topshop and Topman is widely believed to have enabled both high-street brands' image transformation into one of leading fashion-forward retailers. With an impressive career spanning over 30 years within the fashion industry, Cooke Newhouse originally moved to New York in the early ‘80s to work as an editor for Details magazine alongside founder Annie Flanders. Following the publication's purchase by Condé Nast, she began her career in creative consultancy, securing a role in Barneys New York in the early 90s. In 1997 she was recruited by Calvin Klein to act as creative director, a position she held before moving to London to set up her own creative agency. Cooke Newhouse holds and MFA from the University of Illinois and is married to Jonathan Newhouse , chairman of Condé Nast International.
