One of thirteen children born to Albert M Farnsworth and Connie Ackerman from Colonia Garcia, Chihuahua Mexico. In 1932, Eddie's father and uncle, Edwin Lloyd Ackerman, founded ORANGE-SOL HQ in Chandler Arizona. Farnsworth earned his B.S. in economics from the University of Arizona, his M.B.A. in finance/investments from George Washington University, and his J.D. from George Washington University. His professional experience includes working as the vice president/in-house counsel for a manufacturing company, a former intern for the office of Sen. Orrin Hatch of the U.S. Senate, and the president/executive director of Benjamin Franklin Charter Schools. Eddie Farnsworth (Republican Party) has spent 16 years in public office representing Gilbert, Arizona. Eddie Farnsworth was a member of the Arizona State Senate, representing District 12. He assumed office in 2019. He left office on January 10, 2021. Farnsworth (Republican Party) ran for election to the Arizona State Senate to represent District 12. He won in the general election on November 6, 2018. Farnsworth is a former Republican member of the Arizona House of Representatives, representing District 12 from 2013 to 2019. He was moved to District 12 from District 22 because of redistricting. He represented District 22 from 2003 to 2009 and again from 2011 to 2013. He also represented District 30 from 2001 to 2003. He served as majority leader from 2003 to 2004. Farnsworth was unable to run for re-election in 2018 to the Arizona House of Representatives because of term limits. In Dec 2020, as Chair of the Arizona Senate Judiciary Committee, Eddie Farnsworth issued the subpoena of Maricopa County voting machines and software triggering the 2021 Maricopa County Audit of the 2020 Election.
