Mace represented the 99th District in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. Before becoming an elected official, she worked as a commercial real estate agent and ran a public relations firm. Mace earned a master’s degree from the University of Georgia and a bachelor’s degree from The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina. Mace is a member of the U.S. House, representing South Carolina's 1st Congressional District. She assumed office on January 3, 2021. Her current term ends on January 3, 2025. Mace (Republican Party) is running for re-election to the U.S. House to represent South Carolina's 1st Congressional District. She has declared candidacy for the 2024 election.
