Greg Sindelar is the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Texas Public Policy Foundation. He joined the Foundation in August of 2007 as their Director of Operations and served in that capacity until being promoted in 2014. In his role he oversees the Foundation’s business functions, including: Accounting/Finance, HR, IT, Facilities, and Events. Sindelar also serves as a member of the Foundation’s Senior Leadership Team. During Sindelar’s tenure, he has managed the Foundation’s extensive growth in personnel and budget, both averaging over 25% growth per year. Sindelar also oversaw the acquisition, financing, and development of the Foundation’s new headquarters at 901 Congress Avenue. The six-story, nearly 41,000sf building has quickly become the epicenter for liberty in Texas. Prior to joining the Foundation, he worked for GEICO Insurance in Washington, DC as an Internet Business Analyst. While there he assisted in the development and implementation of various applications on their internal and external internet sites and specialized in SEO and social media. He also obtained Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training. Prior to moving to Washington, DC Sindelar worked in GEICO’s Dallas office where he started upon his graduation from Texas A&M University with a BBA in Finance. Sindelar grew up in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and attended Colleyville Heritage High School. He lives in Austin with his wife, two daughters, and black lab. In his free-time he serves on Austin’s Construction Advisory Committee, as a Board Member for the Austin chapter of America’s Future Foundation, and volunteers for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas.
