The chief financial officer of Digital World Acquisition is Luis Orleans-Braganza, a member of Brazil’s parliament and a supporter of the far-right president, Jair Bolsonaro. Orleans-Braganza is also a member of Brazil’s defunct royal family, which has not been in power since the country became a republic in the late 19th century.
